A new series of portable, battery-operated DMMs that addresses the needs of personnel in electronic field service and plant maintenance has been released by John Fluke Manufacturing Co. The 80 Series is a family of 3 high-performance 3 3/4-digit hand-held multimeters, which are enclosed in a rugged, lightweight, splash-proof/dust-proof case. The 80 Series offers analog and digital multimeter versatility including capabilities such as frequency, duty cycle and capacitance measurement in addition to ac/dc voltage, ac/dc current, ohms and diode test functions.
