摘要
Liquid atomization by the impinging of two jets is considered concerning film formation by the jets at low velocity. Calculations of the thickness and velocity distributions, the minimum thickness and the shape of the film are compared with experimental data on the parabolic velocity profile of the jet, discussing the influences on the velocity profiles. These values are calculated as a function of the distance between the streamline through a stagnation point and the axis of jet.
