摘要
Diffusion and gravitational deposition of aerosol particles in the flow thermal diffusion chamber (FTDS) in consideration of their condensation growth was investigated through simulation and experiments. Even with significant concentration of aerosol particles, vapor condensation on these particles does not alter the vapor concentration gradient in the chamber, and for this reason does not affect the efficiency of the diffusion mechanism. The role of condensation-gravitational mechanism decreases. Vapor condensation on the particles heats the gas and decreases the supersaturation.
