The assurance of product quality by means of online control is also becoming increasingly popular among manufacturers of cold-rolled and surface-treated steel strip. Nondestructive measuring procedures using an innovative magnetic induction test device offers an alternative to the conventional method of determining metal strip's mechanical characteristics by tensile testing.
