Experiments were made on waveforms generated by a piston in a closed acoustic resonance tube. At high piston displacement amplitudes, comparisons were made between theory and experiment for the resonant frequency and at frequencies above and below resonance at successively higher piston amplitudes. The pressure response curve of the system was skewed toward higher frequencies.
