This paper reviews the manufacturing process and critical current characteristics of Nb//3Sn superconducting wire manufactured by the bronze method. Also, the performance of superconducting magnets made from this wire was investigated in order to assure the quality of Nb//3Sn superconducting wire of long length. Some other superconducting wires are briefly described and discussed.
