摘要
Renormalization of the phonon spectrum and the paramagnetic susceptibility are examined in a many-electron model of a transition metal with mixing of the band and atomic electron states. Criteria are obtained for a phonon instability, and the temperature dependences of the polarization operator and paramagnetic susceptibility are calculated. The results explain qualitatively the anomalies of the physical properties of A-15 compounds in the normal phase.
