摘要
The authors have investigated a simple two-component resin system for flywheel usage in excess of 120 degree C. The completed laboratory evaluations indicate that this system, the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A and menthane diamine, satisfactorily meets almost all criteria that have been established for resin systems to be used in flywheel applications. It is a promising matrix material for fiber-reinforced flywheel applications. It is a chemically simple, two-component system based on readily available commercial materials of low toxicity.
