The special feature of signal propagation over long-range tropospheric-scatter propagation (LTP) routes is the presence of fast signal fades. In radio communications systems using this effect it is necessary to have independent channels for receiving the same information. Two schemes of organizing space-polarization diversity reception in tropospheric-scatter radio-communications links are discussed. It is shown that the use of such schemes in tropospheric-scatter links doubles the diversity reception multiplicity.
