摘要
Some simple examples such as evaluation of a polynomial, complex multiplication and simple matrix multiplication are used to illustrate that computation should be organized with due thought and the symmetry and redundancy can be exploited to save computational effort. Linear and nonlinear transforms widely useful in signal processing and pattern recognition have been used as examples to illustrate how this could be systematically done.
