摘要
According to the Thermocoil process, the wire rod is subjected to a short-time intensive cooling in newly developed pressure-water cooling tubes immediately after a high and rapid deformation in the rolling block, and subsequently fanned out by a loop layer on a moving carrier after the equalization of the surface and core zone temperatures. This results in a fine-grained ferritic-pearlitic core structure and a tempered martensitic surface zone.
