摘要
It is efficient, in the sense of ensuring reliability and viability, to design packet switches (PS) in the form of an array of microswitches joined together by means of local-area network technology. Of particular importance for developing computer networks is that the use of such switches results in a low-cost initial implementation and makes it possible to enhance performance. Some issues relating to the implementation of packet switches of this type are considered.
