The authors discuss the manufacture of the precast segments, the erection method, and the procedures used to attain the horizontal and vertical alignment of the assembled girder throughout construction. The Pasco-Kennewick Intercity Bridge, which crosses the Columbia River in south central Washington State, is a cable-stayed concrete girder. The main portion of this girder consists of precast concrete segments.
