摘要：
A continual-discrete system of equations for the interaction between surface waves and linear vortices is obtained. The excitation of surface waves by solitary vortices in water and in air is considered. A spectral description of the development of the waves is obtained, and the shape of the steady waves under resonance and non-resonance conditions is determined.
