Desulphurization of exhaust gases in the chemical industry was analysed and parameters and dates of some examples are given. But these emissions are in quantity very much lower than SO//2-emissions of the power plants. Because of this, more investigation is needed in the field of desulphurization of exhaust gases from chemical processes and from power plants. Chemical industry of the GDR tries to get sulphur or sulphur-compounds from both the exhaust gases.
