Recent experiments on non-ohmic conduction sigma //n//l and dc induced voltage oscillations VO (narrow band noise) in deformed o-TaS//3 are reviewed. A drop of sigma //n//l and an almost full depression of VO at some particular value of a strain deformation are interpreted in terms of a model associating both phenomena with existence of kinks (CDW phase discommensurations).
