Using natural rubber, the modification of unsaturated elastomeres in solid state by means of chloramines (chloramine B, chloramine T and dichloramine T) was studied. On the basis of physical-mechanical characteristics the possibility was demonstrated of obtaining a rubber having a low chlorination degree. The reaction mechanism was investigated by physical methods.
