摘要
The design and introduction of satellite communications systems with repeaters located in a geostationary orbit is under way at present on a wide scale for a variety of purposes. A method is proposed for calculating the areas of guaranteed and controlled signal levels of a satellite communications system. Analytical relationships are given, principles of design procedures involving calculations are examined, and an example is given of a solution obtained for a typical problem.
