摘要：

The interchange of information and control signals between data processing equipment and data transmission equipment (DTE) is done through interface circuits. The nomenclature of interface circuits and signal interchange parameters have been standardized and are given in All-Union State Standards (GOST's) and the corresponding recommendations of the CCITT. A large number of interface circuits increase the volume and reduce the reliability of DTE. The use of integrated microcircuits as matching devices greatly reduces the volume of interface units and increase their operating reliability.
