摘要
The thermal, mechanical and electrical properties of epoxy compounds are considered, together with the variation in these properties over temperatures ranging from room to cryogenic. The investigations performed have made it possible to choose potting compounds based on epoxy resins that are suitable for utilization at cryogenic temperatures. The results of the investigations have demonstrated the large influence of the adhesion of the compound to the metal on the mechanical and electrical characteristics of insulation elements: the short-term dielectric strength and the condition for appearance of partial discharges.
