IV conference on reduction in flammability of polymers

The Conference was held in Freiburg (Germany) since 9 to 11 September, 1992. The reports were devoted to kinetics and thermodynamics of pyrolytic processes, formation of carbonized layers during combustion, creation of new high effective substances decreasing flammability of polymers, problems of polyester imides and polyesternaphthyl imides stability to combustion. Reports on test of flammability of oils, lubricants and cables applied in atomic power stations, surface and volume properties of certain polymers at introduction antipyrenes and their chemical additives had attracted considerable interest.
