An integrated system for residential load has been developed that has a number of features, which together are extremely effective in developing, evaluating and implementing load control. These features include (1) a load-forecasting program to forecast the load assuming no load control, (2) a controllable-load-forecast program which estimates the current and future controllable load, and (3) a load-management-scheduling program for determining optimized schedules for load control.
