Hydrodynamics of swirl gas flows was studied as applied to centrifugal separators of axial type with blade vortex generators. Data on the distribution of profiles of circumferential and axial components of gas velocity over the radius and height of the apparatus, data on disperse composition of drops in the separator exit, were obtained. Efficiency of gas-liquid system separation in the axial separator with blade vortex generators, depending on geometrical and conditional parameters, was considered. The optimal conditions of centrifugal separator operation were determined.
