Advanced Boiling Water Reactor Core Performance Calculations.

The objective of this software is to provide improved capacity factors and margins of safety of BWR (boiling water reactor) operations. The additional capabilities are based upon accumulated experience of operation and licensing of BWR plants. The Advanced BWR Core Performance calculations are independent of the monitoring process computer software. They are performed on a high speed minicomputer located in the BWR plant. The software consists of the PREDICTOR, which is based upon the 3D-BWR core design code RS3D, and a high speed version of the process computer monitoring program P1. The main purpose of the PREDICTOR is to predict future operating core states. Communication capabilities will permit simple commands and easy use. A color graphics display unit is used for output results.
