摘要
The dye uptake of unmodified nylon 6 fibers using conventional basic dyes was greatly enhanced by the addition of different organic acids to the dye bath during dyeing. The dye uptake depends upon the concentration of the acids used, viz. acetic acid, monochloroacetic acid, trichloroacetic acid. The possible explanation has been provided. The wash and light fastness of the dyed material were found to be moderate.
