摘要
Under the action of a nonequilibrium stress field in a Ti plus 4% Al alloy there is a change in phase composition with precipitation of titanium hydride ( gamma -phase) and the intermetallic Ti//3Al. There is also a change in the composition of the alpha -phase and migration of the aluminum alloying element. After holding under stress, the impact elasticity decreases. There is a possibility of embrittlement when a load is applied.
