摘要
In modern electronics industry R&D the pace of evolution is accelerating and more massive investments are being made, especially in Japan. The impact of molecular electronics on our future society and its technologies is beyond prediction. The authors describe some of the basic elements of molecular electronics. The authors suggest that a national strategy should be urgently established in order to maintain part of the frontier science molecular electronics in Finland.
