Automated facility has been designed in which the process of impedance measurements is controlled with a personal computer. The facility provides for the needed polarization schedule, makes it possible to determine impedance constituents at surface of metal-environment transition, to perform current calculations of corrosion rates and store results on magnetic tape. The facility is employed to master method of analysis of the quality of protection coats applied to Al alloys. Besides, it can be employed to analyze different methods of corrosion protection in different environments and corrosion control of components in operation.
