Design policy, composition and functions are described of the newly developed area traffic control system with improved operability, maneuverability, reliability and maintainability. In addition to these features, considerations have been given to allow statistical analyses from various angles with respect to collected traffic data, thus leading the times in developing future traffic control systems.
