This paper deals with the pack boronization of 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 2Crl3, 4Cr13 and 4J29 (Fe-Ni-Co). The microstructure and hardness of the boronized layer and the distribution of alloying elements in the layer were studied. The wear and corrosion resistance of the samples treated by this process were compared.
