SURVEY REPORT ON CURRENT OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS.

This paper is one of a series prepared for use in Current Operational Problems (COPs) forums with the goal of focusing the attention of the industry on high priority problems faced by those who are involved in the actual operation of power systems. The results of a questionnaire completed by system operators are presented. This questionnaire updates the list of Current Operational Problems that the COPs Working Group has maintained since 1976. The Appendix to this paper presents all the questions posed with the composite responses of those who returned the questionnaire. At the end of each category of questions, the write-in problems are presented with some editing to combine similar concerns and to limit their length.
