In the present paper the authors studied the thermal conductivity of Cu//3AsSe//4 and Cu//3SbSe//4 compounds in the solid and liquid states in the 30-750 C range, including the melting region. The measurements were made by the absolute method in a stationary thermal regime in a helium atmosphere using polycrystalline specimens. The phase composition was monitored by X-ray and structural analyses. A comparison of experimental values of the thermal conductivity of the melt with the values of the thermal conductivity calculated by the Wiedemann-Franz formula shows the presence of an additional heat transfer mechanism in the Cu//3AsSe//4 melt.
