摘要
The conditions for the implementation of kinetic and diffusion regimes of the interaction of blast-furnace coke with CO2 at 1000-1100°C are analyzed. The method of determination of reactivity according to GOST 10089-89 corresponds to the kinetic regime of the reaction C + CO2 and the method according to GOST 50921-96 corresponds to the intradiffusion regime of the reaction. Variation of the size of coke particles makes it possible to determine the rate constant, the effective thickness of the reacting layer and the gas diffusion coefficient in coke pores. The reactivity indices of coke are related to its structure, this being evidenced by the correlation with electrical conductivity and the characteristics of optical texture. © 2004 by Allerton Press, Inc.
