The authors examined the interrelation between the degree of supersaturation and decomposition kinetics and morphology of MeC carbide precipitates with the strengthening of steel 37Kh12N8GMFT during ageing. The chemical composition of the steel was as follows, wt. %: 0. 40 C, 0. 64 Si, 8. 98 Mn, 0. 025 P, 0. 01 S, 13. 19 Cr, 8. 65 Ni, 1. 25 Mo, 0. 32 Ti.
