Quality assurance measures applicable to pressurized components in power plant technology are reviewed, and the differences between the acceptance procedures applicable to conventional and nuclear power plants with regard to quality assurance are noted. The effectiveness and appropriateness of quality assurance measures applied to conventional and nuclear power plants are compared with regard to type and extent.
