Investigation of the flooding velocity of immiscible mixtures condensed in a vertical tube

According to the speciality of immiscible mixture vapor condensation on the wall of the vertical tube, a mathematical model is developed to forecast the velocity limit of immiscible mixture vapor condensation on the wall in a vertical tube. The experiments have been conducted with the oil-water mixture vapors condensing on the wall in a brass tube and in a glass tube respectively. The comparison between the present model-predicted data and experimental data obtained in this paper indicates that this mathematical mode is suitable for the forecast of velocity limit of the immiscible mixture vapor condensing on the wall in a vertical tube.
