摘要
An experimental study is described of heat and mass transfer from a capillary-porous body upon the impingement of air from an array of jets. It is found that the heat and mass transfer coefficients have a complex distribution, lending itself only to experimental determination. The value of these coefficients was found to be a function of the nozzle pitch and distance from the nozzles to the material being impinged. No dependence on the jet width or air temperature was found over the range of test conditions.
