摘要
This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility afforded a 'clean sheet of paper' approach to the design of the power distribution and control systems. The primary distribution system incorporated an extremely flexible system of switching loads providing both normal, standby, and loop service to over 50 single ended unit substations. Modern, vacuum pressure impregnated epoxy transformers, with flexible layout arrangements, were utilized for a high degree of reliability and low operating costs. A system of over 50,000 ft of busway brings power to the doorstep of inplant processes and machinery. Power factor correction, diesel generation and effective lighting control systems highlight the overall 'clean sheet' approach to electrical design.
