Western Resources study of the use of polyethylene plastic pipe is summed up. In its study the plastic pipe task force determined which PE piping materials would provide the safest, most reliable, cost-effective gas distribution system available. Some medium-density materials are identified which handle the long-term stresses induced for the greatest length of time.
