Results are presented of experiments conducted to study the influence of rotation on the average (around the blade profile contour) heat transfer coefficient of an unshrouded radial-axial centripetal turbine rotor. To clarify the influence of rotation, the experiments were conducted at different rotor speeds and with different stator vane incidence angles.
