摘要：
A brief description is given of testing procedures and data processing methods used in the BMW testing laboratory, and of the first test results for the motors being tested. It is suggested that the list of unregulated components be reduced, and nitrated and oxidized polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons identified and quantified so as to close the gaps in our knowledge regarding their effect on health.
