摘要：
On line monitoring and controlling of chatter is a key technology in the development of computer numerical controlled machine tools. In this paper, a technology of chatter monitoring based on pattern recognition method and chatter controlling rely upon the automatic adjustment of cutting parameters (spindle revolution and feed rate) is developed. Experimental results show that the conception of chatter-free machine tools is feasible and effective.
