Kinetic curves of oxidation and decarburization of pellets with basicities of 0. 3, 1. 3, and 2. 2 during nonisothermal roasting at heating rates of 25, 50, and 100 deg/min are plotted. On the basis of the experimental data, empirical dependences are derived for the process of decarburization of pellets with a basicity of 1. 3. The data obtained can be used in the optimization of regimes of pellet roasting on conveyor machines.
