A method of calculation of differential parameters and transient processes in electromechanical devices based on electromagnetic field analysis

Method of calculation of differential electromagnetic parameters of electromechanical converter with nonlinear electromagnetic coupling is suggested. It is based on spline approximation of flux-linkage functions, and splines are constructed on the basis of numerical calculations of electromagnetic field instantaneous values, allowing for moving element displacement and nonlinearity of magnetic circuit properties. The developed calculation algorithm is much simplified and provides high precision of determining differential electromagnetic parameters, electrodynamic forces and moments, magnetic field energy of electromechanical converters.
