Helical vibratory conveyors are designed for lifting bulk materials. They feature several advantages in comparison with bucket elevators, scrubbing conveyors, spiral or belt conveyors, etc. In the present article, a brief introduction has been given on the principles of bulk material transport and vibrating equations, as well as an analysis of the exciting drive and an accurate calculation of elastic systems and the conditions of self-synchronization. These points are not only of a great reference value to engineers and designers, but are also beneficial for the user who wants to become familiar with the machines or highly skilful in operating them.
