In recent years, many physicists have emphasized relativity when introducing their students to electromagnetic theory. This is an excellent way to present electromagnetic concepts not only to future physicists but also to future electrical engineers. The present paper outlines some difficulties in the classical approach that may be overcome by using concepts of special relativity.
