BATs, which to choose?

The manual of Best Available Technologies (BAT) is designed to present the results of the exchange of information between the member states of the EU and the textile industries on the best technologies available for particular purposes. This exchange of information at community level will help to correct the different levels of technological awareness existing in the Community, as well as to circulate the limits established and techniques applied in the Community to the rest of the world. The document and its background are described with reference to the Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control directive and its relevance to the textile dyeing and printing industry.
