摘要
A review is presented of older methods and applications of extremum control. A discussion is presented of how adaptive control could be applied within this field. This will require the introduction of a parametric model for the system, and the use of system identification to find the best parameter values. One way of modeling such a nonlinear dynamic system is to separate the dynamics and the nonlinearity into two blocks. It is shown how the order between the two blocks will have a large influence on the behavior of the model.
