摘要
Various methods can be used which should permit controlled processes to give continuous service. These methods are: increase of the intrinsic reliability of the hardware, functional module interconnections, automated process control architecture directed toward dependability from the early design stages on, real time on the line monitoring, measured variables credibility tests. Once the methods are defined, means of achieving reliability are analyzed.
