摘要:
Results of investigations on the effect of particle size distribution of a raw material, moisture content of the granulated raw material and the duration of wet drum granulation on the strength of granules estimated by means of a compression test are discussed. The granulation was carried out in a drum of diameter 0.5 m and length 0.4 m at constant rotational velocity n = 0.33 s-1 and constant volumetric filling with the feed (= 10%, for moisture content selected for each raw material separately. A significant effect of particle size distribution, the amount of wetting liquid/granulation degree and granulation time on the breaking force and corresponding breaking stress was found.
